Emily Jiang is an editor and freelance copy editor based in New York. As contributing editor at the arts and culture–focused media company The Slowdown, she oversees the company’s semiweekly newsletter. Formerly, as senior editor, she edited and co-produced the podcast Time Sensitive and provided editorial guidance on client projects ranging from books and exhibitions to live talks and events. As a member of the Super Copy Editors team, she copy edits and proofreads a wide variety of projects for clients including agencies, marketing teams, and educational institutions.

Born and raised in rural Massachusetts, Emily is a graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course and Pomona College, where she founded and led the undergraduate philosophy journal Tabula Rasa as editor-in-chief.
